Show up at Urban Farmer on Wednesday 20 May at 5:30 ish to dig in the dirt (hmmmmm), plant seeds, pour some miracle grow libations, and grow some new relationships. Come on, grow local. Grab your favorite buddy and come toast a cold beverage with us on WEDNESDAY!

Greetings, awesome leaders. Yes, you are busy. Yes, summer is nearly upon us. Yes, your friends miss you. What can you do about this situation? Come to the URBAN FARMER (525 SW Morrison, 8th floor) on 20 May for some happy hours with friends and fellow alums from the Leadership Portland program. We begin the happiness at 5:30. Come check out one of the hottest happy hour places in town and toast some of the coolest leaders in town…all on the perfect spring day of 20 May!

By the way, my cohort, class of 2008, typically shows up in a 5:1 ratio to all other classes. Any class bold enough to step up and join the fray? Call your friends and mark your calendar. See you there.

I know you have been smiling ear to ear these past few days while the sun has been shining on us. Let’s keep the sunniness ( eh, it’s a word specific to Portlanders….) going! Take some time to celebrate spring with other busy, amazing, fabuous leaders at our April happy hour. Show up here: Touche, 1425 NW Glisan between 5:30 – 7:30 on the 14th of April. No tax excuses! Momentum Not to Be Missed

Energy is beginning to build! Thanks to all the folks who attended the happy hour at Roots last week. It was nice to see several classes represented. Cool people, great conversation.

To accommodate folks who have fixed meetings every month, we will vary the happy hour schedule with events on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday each month. For the blossoming month of April we will gather on Tuesday, April 14 at Touché, 1425 NW Glisan beginning at 5:30 ish. Call a classmate you want to reconnect with and plan to meet them at Touché on the 14th.

Make it a bold week. See you on the 14th.

Join fellow leaders from all 6 Leadership Portland cohorts for a casual happy hour at Roots Organic Brewing Company (1520 SE 7th Ave, www.rootsorganicbrewing.com ) on 18 March.
