About: EV Armitage
E.V. Armitage is the Executive Coordinator for Central City Concern (CCC), a nonprofit social service agency with a mission to create pathways to self-sufficiency through active intervention in poverty and homelessness. CCC operates a continuum of alcohol and drug treatment, health care, housing and employment services. E.V. started at CCC in 1997 and has held several different administrative positions for the agency. Her responsibilities include executive coordination for the senior directors, grantwriting and grants management (with a focus on government grants), coordinating initiatives such as strategic planning, and special projects. E.V. serves on the board of Tears of Joy Theatre, an arts nonprofit which provides a range of children’s puppet theater and arts education programs. E.V. is an alumni volunteer coordinating Portland area recruitment activities for Oberlin College, where she received a B.A. in English.
